Shai Cohen is an entrepreneur and industry veteran, with vast experience in building technology companies from the ground up. Prior to founding proteanTecs, Shai co-founded Mellanox (NASDAQ: MLNX), a global leader of end-to-end InfiniBand and Ethernet interconnect solutions for servers and storage. He served as Mellanox's Chief Operations Officer from 2011 and before that as VP of Operations and Engineering, from 1999. While at Mellanox, Shai oversaw all internal operations and production, and co-led the company’s research and development activities. He served as a member of the Mellanox Board of Directors from 2015 to 2018. From 1989 to 1999, Shai worked at Intel Corporation, where he was a senior staff member in the Pentium processors department and a circuit design manager in the cache controllers group. Shai holds a B.Sc cum laude in Electrical Engineering from the Israel Institute of Technology, Technion.
Evelyn Landman is an industry veteran and entrepreneur with over 30 years of semiconductor experience, owning a deep expertise in chip design and product engineering. Prior to founding proteanTecs, Evelyn co-founded Mellanox (NASDAQ: MLNX),a global leader of end-to-end InfiniBand and Ethernet interconnect solutions for servers and storage, where she served as VP of Backend and Product Engineering. Throughout her 17 years at Mellanox, Evelyn was responsible for IC backend design and production, systems and cables product engineering and in addition, led the company’s research group on assembly and optical technologies. From 1988-1999, Evelyn worked at Intel Corporation, where she was a senior staff member in the Processors department. Evelyn holds a B.Sc. cum laude in Electrical Engineering from The Israel Institute of Technology, Technion.
Prior to founding proteanTecs in the spring of 2017, Roni co-founded and served as Senior Vice President of Engineering at Mellanox (NASDAQ: MLNX). Throughout his 16 years’ at Mellanox, Roni was responsible for Front-End chip development, Silicon Debug and Software Development of the InfiniBand and Ethernet Switches & Endpoints. Prior to that, Roni worked at Galileo Technology (acquired by Marvell) and in Intel Israel. Roni holds aB.Sc. in Computer and Electrical Engineering from The Israel Institute of Technology, Technion (Cum Laude).
Uzi Baruch brings twenty years of software development and business leadership experience, managing R&D teams and high scale projects at leading, global hi-tech companies. At proteanTecs, he is responsible for driving the company’s deep data strategy, enabling customers to gain visibility into their advanced electronic systems in production and lifetime operation.
He joined Optimal+ in 2016 as VP of R&D, and has been instrumental in driving the company’s big data offering, enabling customers to innovate manufacturing through a data-centric approach.
Before joining Optimal, Uzi served as VP of R&D in the Enterprise Group at NICE. Uzi holds a BA in Computer Science and Business Administration from the Open University
With over 30 years of experience in the Semiconductor and EDA industry, Sanjay has a recognized track record of successfully driving product proliferation and customer success into both North America and international markets.
Sanjay was most recently Regional Head of EMEA at Cadence Design Systems, with responsibility of leading the company’s activities in Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA).
Sanjay joined Cadence as Sales Director for North America, World Field Operations, in 2013. In this role, he demonstrated his ability to exceed customers’ expectations, as well as drive consistent growth for Cadence. He headed up Cadence’s worldwide hardware sales team, responsible for the rollout, sales, and proliferation of both the Palladium® Z1 and Protium® S1 platforms. During his tenure, Sanjay helped deliver record Cadence success for both platforms.
Prior to joining Cadence, Sanjay was worldwide VP at Extreme Design Automation where he was responsible for sales and growth prior to its acquisition by a larger EDA company.
Sanjay holds a bachelor's degree in computer science & Electrical Engineering from Santa Clara University. He also serves as board member and advisor to several businesses in the San Francisco Bay Area and Austin, Texas, USA.
With over 15 years of experience in HR Management in global hi-tech and med-tech companies, Zehavit joined proteanTecs in December 2018. Before joining the company, Zehavit worked as Regional Talent Management Manager at Marvell, and as HR Director at Syneron Medical. Zehavit holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the Haifa university and a Master’s degree in Organizational Consulting from the College of Management. Zehavit is also certified in Group Leadership.
Eran brings vast executive experience, working with B2B SaaS companies during their growth phases. Prior to joining proteanTecs, Eran served as CFO at Atera and Localize and before that, practiced Corporate Valuation at PwC and was a lecturer at the Hebrew University (HUJI). He is the author of The Handbook of Corporate Valuation, delivering a practical approach to an essential aspect of how business is conducted today.
Eran holds a BA in Economics & Accounting, and an M.Sc in Finance, both from Tel Aviv University.
With extensive experience as Senior Principal engineer in the field of Silicon technologies, Eyal is one of proteanTecs' founders. Before founding the company, Eyal had a 20 year career path at Intel, where he served as Sr. Principal Engineer in PLLs and clock generation. Eyal is the inventor of over 40 patents, and holds a B.Sc.in electrical engineering from the Tel Aviv University.
Yuval is an experienced executive in both R&D and Sales & Marketing. Prior to joining the founding team of proteanTecs, Yuval held VP R&D and site manager positions at Broadsay, an end-to-end video broadcasting solution for content providers. Yuval was also VP R&D at Trackimo Inc, where he led development of an end to end IoT solution for tracking location of people, assets and fleets around the world. Yuval also held positions of VP Sales & Marketing at PicoParts LTD and Director of Sales & Marketing at Alpha CSP. Yuval holds a B.Sc. (cum laude) in Computer Science from the The Academic College of Tel Aviv–Yaffo and an MBA degree from Haifa University.
A leading expert in the fields of AI and Data Science, Yahel is one of proteanTecs founders. He has vast experience in the fields of Reinforcement Learning, Probability and Optimization, authoring a body of research on Sequential Decision-Making problems that involve uncertainty and partial feedback. Yahel held R&D positions at IBM and Yahoo and holds a PhD, MSc and BSc, summa cum laude, in Electrical Engineering from The Israel Institute of Technology – Technion.

Raanan Gewirtzman is a seasoned executive and entrepreneur with over 30 years of successful experience in a variety of international companies, owning a deep understanding in a wide range of markets and technologies. Raanan joined proteanTecs in 2018 as Chief Business Officer and was responsible for leading the long-term vision and strategy of revolutionary Universal Chip Telemetry™ in electronics until January 2021. Prior to joining to proteanTecs, Raanan joined BroadLight, a private fabless-semiconductor company and leader of FTTH solutions. From 2007 he served as BroadLight’s CEO and Board Member and led the company from startup to a market-leading and profitable growth company, until it was acquired by Broadcom in 2012. Prior to that, Raanan held senior management positions in various companies including Virata Corporation, which merged into GlobespanVirata, and spent 14 years at IBM Research. Raanan holds a Practical Engineer degree in Mechanics, a B.Sc cum laude in Computer Engineering and an M.Sc in Electrical Engineering specializing in Artificial Neutral Networks from The Israel Institute of Technology, Technion.
Dr. J.W. McPherson is an international and renowned expert in the fields of Reliability Physics & Engineering. He has published over 200 scientific papers, is the author of the Reliability Chapters for 4 Books and has been awarded 20 patents. Dr. McPherson was formerly a Texas Instruments Senior Fellow and past General Chairman of the IEEE International Reliability Physics Symposium (IRPS) and still serves on its Board of Directors. He is an IEEE Fellow and Founder/CEO of McPherson Reliability Consulting, LLC. Dr. McPherson holds a PhD degree in Physics.
David (Dadi) Perlmutter is a Technology and Social entrepreneur and investor, focusing on investment in growing Israeli technology companies and in social activities to create social and economic opportunities for the younger generation. Perlmutter serves as Chairman of Weebit nano and Teramount, is a Board member of Mellanox and an investor/director in various startups in Israel and Si Valley. He also chairs, and is active in nonprofit organizations. He is a member of the Board of Governors of the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, and a Board member of the Technion Israel Society. During his 34-year career at Intel, Perlmutter was directly responsible for developing several of Intel's major products and technology breakthroughs that had an important impact on Intel's business and on the entire industry. In his final position of Executive Vice President and Chief Product officer, Perlmutter grew the business from $35B in 2008 to more than $50B in 2013. Perlmutter holds a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering Cum Laude from the Technion, and in 1987 won the innovation in industrial development award from the President of Israel. Perlmutter was born in Tel Aviv, Israel in 1953, and is married with 4 children and 6 grandchildren.
Amir Faintuch is the Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Computing and Wired Infrastructure (CWI) Strategic Business Unit at Globalfoundries Inc. Faintuch has more than 25 years of experience in the semiconductor industry.Prior to joining GF, he was Senior Vice President and General Manager at Intel,where he played a key role in leading a major engineering transformation thatincreased product competitiveness and predictability, being responsible for tens of thousands of engineers who delivered IP and SOCs across Intel $70B business. Faintuch is also a former Qualcomm executive, where he served as President of Qualcomm Atheros, a subsidiary of Qualcomm Inc. that develops networking, connectivity infrastructure and Internet of Things components. His previous positions also include senior executive positions at Atheros communications and Texas Instruments. Faintuch holds a dual MBA degree from Northwestern University, Kellogg School of Management and Tel-Aviv University and a bachelor's degree from the University of Haifa.
Christian Klingler is a seasoned executive and investor with significant experience in the automotive industry. He has held multiple prominent positions throughout his 30 year career, including Chairman to the Supervisory Board of both Porsche Holding Salzburg & Skoda Auto a.s. He was also responsible for sales and marketing as a member of the Board of the Volkswagen Group, where under his leadership of more than 70,000 employees, sales grew from 6.1 million cars to 10.1 million cars. Today, he acts in various roles as an investor and as an advisor and board member to a range of companies in the industry.
Mark Potter is a highly respected business executive in the datacenter market. Over the course of his career he has led software, infrastructure, networking, and cloud businesses, overseen multiple restructurings and incubated four billion dollar businesses. He spent the majority of his career with Hewlett Packard Enterprise, in his last role as Global CTO, while also leading Hewlett Packard Labs and the company's Silicon Design Group. Mark has served on the Board of Directors or Board of Advisors for multiple organizations including Pensando, H3C, Solarflare Communications, the Greater Houston Partnership, Texas A&M Engineering Experiment Station (TEES), the University of Houston.
A 30-year industry veteran, Georgios Konstadinidis is a high performance computing (HPC) and AI hardware design expert. Currently a consultant, Georgios was a principal hardware engineer at Google from 2017 to 2022. Prior to that, he was a senior hardware architect at Oracle and Sun Microsystems. Georgios is highly experienced in technology strategy, physical design and custom circuit methodology, IC and systems reliability, CAD, power management architectures, IP evaluation, silicon bring-up, and the productization of numerous HPC CPUs and ML (TPU) systems. Georgios served as a member of the digital technical committee of ISSCC, as Guest Editor of JSSC, as Communications Chair of the IRPS committee and as a TPC member of the IEDM Systems and Circuit Reliability sub-committee. Georgios has authored numerous IEEE publications, is co-author of the “Clocking in Modern VLSI Systems” book, and has 15 patents in HPC design issued, and several pending. Georgios received his Ph.D. in electrical engineering from the Technical University of Berlin, Germany and earned his B.Sc. in Physics and M.Sc. in Electronics from the Aristoteles University Thessaloniki, Greece.
